The Best Eat-Out Dinner
Last week a couple of friends came for a holiday in London and stayed at our place. In fact, they were not our friends. They were friends of a Malaysian girl that Saimun met here in London. But in a place so far away from home, any Chinese Malaysian who happened to be here would be our friends.
Peter and Janet spent 1 week at our place. They arrived during the weekend and Saimun bought breakfast for them, showed them maps, taught them how to get around and gave them a handphone so that they could call him if they needed to. I haven't seen Saimun so generous in a long time. Saimun even bought them dinner on a Sunday night.
We went to Nando's - Saimun's favourite food in London. It's the only 'spicy' food which is spicy enough and reasonably priced. During the day, I tried to let Dominic sleep as much as he could so that he would behave during dinner. It was a cold December night so we dressed Dominic up quite heavily. He had on a bodysuit, a long sleeve shirt on top, another layer of sweater and a jumper, tights for his bottom followed by a pair of jeans. Then we put on a scarf and beanie on him. Oh yeah .. he also had a pair of gloves on. After that, he was so 'bulky' that it was difficult even for him to move!
All through dinner, Dominic was such a good boy. He finished his jar food, then he had some chicken and fries from our plates. The restaurant played some Portugese or Latin music and Dominic was enjoying it so much that he sat on the highchair and swayed his body to the rhythm of the music. :-)
We had dinner till past 9pm and Dominic behaved extremely well the entire night. On the way home, he fell fast asleep.

Beautiful Autumn Scene
Autumn is over now. A few weeks ago, the trees were still fiery yellow and leaves were falling down. It was a beautiful scene. Now, the trees are bare. The weather is getting colder and colder. Yesterday it was 8 degrees celcius and today it was 10 degrees celcius. Dominic remains comfortable in his warm home and he is out, he has on 9 pieces of clothing including beanie, gloves and scarf. :-)
Here are some pictures of the beautiful autumn scenery. It was beautiful ... really ... only my photography skill is not so good.
